Senior Billing Specialist, Healthcare at DSV

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The main purpose of this role is to support and execute the tasks related to the invoicing of fees for services rendered by DSV Healthcare. This includes accurate and complete operationalising the contractual fee schedules, maintaining master billing data and rules, reviewing billing integrity, reporting and supporting the Billing Specialists in the execution of their tasks.

JOB-RELATED REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Client Billing Field, at least 3 years must be in transport logistics billing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaise with the SAP Master data team to create and update client information as needed.
• Review fee schedules and compile billing rules required to accurately execute the fee schedule.
• Engage with the Commercial team to resolve queries regarding the fee schedule and related updates.
• Capture client billing rules as identified on the relevant billing tools
• Conduct 6 monthly billing review of assigned clients to ensure correct application of fee schedule on manual and    automated billing.
• Conduct annual fee schedule review of assigned high value clients together with Client Billing Manager.
• Prepare, review and/or upload billing templates to SAP
• Compile month-end revenue balancing reporting and resolve queries
• Prepare and distribute monthly recons, accruals and credit note analysis as required
• Review credit note calculations with documentation prior to management approval
• Review ad hoc & monthly manually calculated value added services billing
• Provide input on requirements for billing solution changes, conduct user acceptance testing as required, participate in and      contribute to billing projects as a subject matter expert.
• Review evidence that month-end billing packs for assigned clients are distributed timeously.
• Action and resolve queries raised by Client Billing Manager from monthly billing simulation.
• Validate against checklist that all ad hoc and standard billing is executed for the billing period
• Reviewing shared drives to ensure that all billing files and records for assigned clients are uploaded and correctly filed.
• Support Billing Specialists with the resolution of billing queries
• Co-ordinate the supply of ad hoc data and conduct billing analysis as required
