Senior Bookkeeper at Salt South Africa

• A leading events company in Cape Town is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.

Key requirements:

• BCom in Accounting or similar
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices
• Medium knowledge of CRM systems (Current, salesforce, Odoo etc)

Duties:

• Load and process payments to suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Supplier Invoice queries.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as performing regular follow ups on outstanding debtors.
• Reconcile creditor and debtor statements.
• Credit card management and reconciliation.
• Financial Planning and forecasting.
• Monthly Profit & Loss reports.
• Weekly Debtors reports.
• VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, WCA.
• Payroll management.
• Contract management (Completion of contracts, updates, addendums, filing)
