Senior Business Analyst at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• An international company that manufactures and sells specialty coatings, sealants, building materials, and related services worldwide is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / WMS Consultant with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Manhattan Active® WMS (Cloud) - Durban, Johannesburg, or Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• WMS Domain Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Manhattan WMS best practices, design, and production support.
• Requirements & Solution Design: Translate business needs into detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and GAP analysis for extension development.
• Configuration & Testing: Lead end-to-end WMS configuration, functional/system testing, integration testing, and user training.
• Vendor & Team Collaboration: Partner with vendors and project teams to develop test scripts, coordinate sign-offs, and track quality metrics.
• Go-Live & Hypercare Support: Provide hands-on post-implementation support to stabilize production operations and triage defects.

Minimum Requirements:

• WMS Implementation: Proven experience implementing WMS as a client, systems integrator, or consultant.
• System Configuration: End-to-end configuration of Manhattan Active WMS (Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Shipping).
• Inventory & Fulfillment: Hands-on experience with inventory synchronization, cycle counting, ASN processing, pick confirmation, and shipment creation.
• Integrations & Troubleshooting: Familiarity with Host/ERP system integrations, troubleshooting failed messages, duplicate transactions, and parcel integrations (UPS, FedEx).

Tools & Technical Skills:

• Building label templates using MarkMagic.
• Jasper Reports (debugging and reporting functions).
• Operations & Leadership: Ability to collaborate with DC Operations and Inventory controllers, lead cross-functional discussions, and manage small WMS enhancement projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent field.
• WMS Experience: 5+ years of Manhattan Active or WMOS configuration experience with proven results.
• Cloud & ERP Integration:
• 3+ years in Manhattan Active WMS (Cloud) system configuration and ERP integration.
• 5+ years of ERP functional integration across Order Management, Production Planning, and Shipment processes.
