We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Citrix Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team at Datacentrix Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and high-level support of our Citrix environment across the organization. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Citrix technologies and play a critical role in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and published applications
Requirements:
Matric Qualification
Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or similar
5 + years’ supporting Citrix in a senior position
Experience supporting either Hyper-V, VMware or Nutanix AHV
Good understanding of Citrix and Microsoft server infrastructure
Overall Responsibilities:
Support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
Support Citrix Application Delivery Controllers
Support Citrix DaaS
Proactive Citrix support via Goliath monitoring
Proactive analysis and reporting on Citrix system health
Patch management of Citrix systems
Assist with escalations from 1st and 2nd line support
