Description

• Overseeing and directing the end-to-end compliance process from identification through to monitoring and reporting.
• Development of compliance documentation including risk management plans and monitoring.
• Ensuring that compliance support is aligned to business strategy.
• Managing relationships with various regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
• Monitoring and reporting the efficiency and consistency of compliance controls.
• Providing accurate and complete compliance function information to the correct people/areas in order to enable them to take remedial action.
• Assisting the legal and forensic department where necessary by providing advice when new processes and/or procedures are developed or when existing processes and/ or procedures are amended to ensure continued compliance.
• Assisting with Adhoc activities where necessary

Requirements

• LLB Degree
• Bachelor of Commerce with specialization in BCom Law
• If in progress of the above, then 8 years of experience in Compliance
• 4-5 years’ experience in Compliance Risk Management
• 4-5 years’ experience in Financial Services
• FAIS Act 2002
• FIC Act 2001
• National Credit Act 2004
• Insurance Act 2017
• Long Term Insurance Act 1998
