Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):

• Grade 12 / N3 with Maths and Science PLUS
• NQF Level 5 National Diploma in Power Plant Process Control OR
• NQF Level 6 Higher Certificate in Power Plant Process Control OR
• Technical Diploma

Experience:

• Five (5) years related experience as Unit Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Units loading requirements
• Monitor plant efficiency
• Plan and co-ordinate all PTW requirements
• Assist with the co-ordination of outage activities and commissioning of plant
• Monitor and co-ordinate modifications activities
• Lead and/or assist with incident investigations
• Plan, co-ordinate and control any abnormal tests or abnormal operating activities
• Provide on job training (coaching)
• Perform administrative duties
