    Senior Copywriter

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate (and work closely) with the creative team from brainstorming to conceptual development
    • Conceptualize ideas into concrete, actionable concepts that meet the client’s needs and add value beyond the basic requirements.
    • Understanding of retail marketing.
    • Grasp the brief and strategy to ensure clarity before undertaking tasks and seek solutions
    • Research, brainstorm and understand the client's needs and target audience
    • Strategic thinking, analyses situations and respond with solutions
    • Craft quality copy that is suited to all forms of advertising (i.e. TVC, radio, print, social media, digital banners, retail focus and brand voice etc.)
    • Understand relevant social media platforms and tools and understand the fundamentals of great content marketing. (Social media content and it’s best practices)
    • Comfortably adapt voice, style, and other characteristics in accordance with the client’s brief
    • Proofread copy to ensure there are no spelling/grammar/tonal errors
    • Present final copy to the Creative Director and Creative Group Head
    • Guide and support the junior creative team by providing constructive feedback
    • Keep abreast of advertising trends within industry best practices

    Qualifications:

    • Tertiary qualification in Copywriting / Advertising
    • Proficient in Office365 (i.e. MS Teams / Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Minimum 4 years working experience as a Senior Copywriter in a traditional Advertising Agency
    • ATL & TTL experience is essential
    • Digital: sound knowledge and experience in digital writing, some retail knowledge, an interest in industry trends (i.e. Social media) and an understanding of principles and best practice (will be advantageous)
    • An excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written)
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strong time management skills in a retail fast paced environment
    • Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on multiple campaigns/briefs at any given time)
    • An online portfolio showcasing all ATL & TTL is essential
    • Abreast with AI tools available
