    Senior Customer Manager – Retail

    Job Description

    • Ensure customer metrics are achieved through negotiation and delivery of joint business plans (incorporating Business Unit Must Win Battles)
    • Drive service levels with incremental improvements by working closely with the customer and supply team
    • Tailored promotional strategy delivered in line with customer expectations and Pepsico framework
    • Work with category/shopper team to create shopper/category strategy by customer
    • Deliver Account ‘Must Win Battles’ through Account Plans
    • Execute P.I .effectively
    • Execute pricing strategy and pack/price architecture in accounts
    • Deliver execution vision for all key initiatives
    • Grow share, range and distribution in line with specific account targets
    • Develop senior customer relationships across account base
    • Improve Advantage Group Survey results in account base and channel
    • Create a deep understanding of what is needed to execute account plans at regional and store level. Ensure NAM is working closely with NOM to deliver execution.
    • Promotional calendars updated weekly across customer base
       

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in FMCG / CPG
    • Strong financial acumen and basic understanding of accounting
    • Ability and knowledge of managing Budgets
    • National account management experience (ideally in South-Africa)
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strategic focus
    • Team management
    • Change leadership
    • Functional excellence
