The Job

A client is looking for an accomplished and experienced Senior Tax Director.  We are looking for a passionate change agent that would be responsible for the formulation and execution of the Tax policy and legislation advocacy strategy across the client's business in partnership with Management and all other stakeholders. 

You will be responsible for providing leadership within this specialised function by working with the Senior Executive; Tax Team and other stakeholders to establish short to long term solutions that will propel the client and the profession to greater heights. 

You will be required to effectively lead and manage the advocacy strategy delivery to optimise member and stakeholder engagement and tracking of key initiatives that will enhance engagement of the client members and stakeholders. This includes public engagements with the media and other stakeholders. 

Qualification and Experience:

• Post Graduate Tax qualification
• Master’s Degree (In any field)
• Minimum 7-10 years Post Qualification Experience
• Minimum 4 years’ Managerial Experience
• Tax Legislation and Policy Analysis & Commentary
• Tax Technical Opinion Writing
• Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution 
•  Public Speaking and Media Engagement
• People Management
• Executive Level Stakeholder Engagement
• Engaging within parliamentary legislative environment advantageous
• VAT experience advantageous
