An esteemed engineering consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in Johannesburg, contributing to the delivery of world-class data centre substation infrastructure projects.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B Eng / BSc Eng / B Tech Eng).
Professional registration (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng with ECSA).
8–10 years post-graduate experience in electrical engineering with emphasis on high-voltage infrastructure.
Solid understanding of PMBOK-aligned project management processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Projects, and familiarity with software like Digsilent and PLS-CADD is advantageous.
Experience working with Eskom and municipal authorities is beneficial.
Lead the design, implementation, and management of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems (11 kV to 400 kV) from concept through to commissioning.
