Senior Foreman at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• Grade 10 or equivalent technical qualifications
• Grade 12 qualifications (advantageous)
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience as per KPA’s below
• 2 years’ supervisory experience
• Computer Literacy – MS Office & SAP
• Code EB Driving License
• Availability to work outside normal working hours when required
• City Tag to drive City Vehicles advantageous
• Candidates may be subjected to medical and driver test

Key Performance Areas

• Supervises and controls the operations functionality and the workforce
• Ensure that all collected litter/refuse have been removed to disposal facilities
• Monitor the performance of contractors
• Allocate daily duties to Senior & Supervisor Drivers and workforce
• Keep superiors and subordinated informed of operational progress
• Carry out investigation of allegations and complaints
• Ensure that safety guidelines in terms of staff and equipment are met
• Manage and address staff performance and training
• Relevant administration – reports, attendance, statistical information vehicle usage records, service orders, etc
