Senior Forestry Development Officer (Ref: FOM17/2026)
National Diploma (NQF6) in Forestry / Developmental Studies or relevant qualification within the related field as recognised by SAQA.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Forestry Development and Forestry extension or related field.
Knowledge of the National Forest Act 1998 (Act 84 of 1998), the National Veld and Forest Fire Act, 1996 (Act 101 of 1996), PFMA and other related environmental legislation.
Good presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, programme and project management.
Good interpersonal relations, and negotiation skills. Computer skills in MS Office Software.
A valid driving licence and must be willing to travel.
