Senior Frontend Engineer (ePKI) at DigiCert, Inc.

Position Summary

• We are in the market for a Senior Frontend Engineer (ePKI) to join a new agile cross-functional team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on software engineer and self-starter with experience working as a frontend engineer to develop, build and deploy robust, quality software in production.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with PM/Architect to drive, innovate and develop quality software
• Analyse, troubleshoot and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues
• Develop an understanding and knowledge of products/solutions, architecture and systems
• Work with agile cross-functional team to estimate and plan development activities and timelines
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Have

• 4 - 8 years of professional experience working in the software industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Electrical Engineering,
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best-practices in software design and architecture
• Experience developing Front-end using shared UI component libraries
• Experience writing automated test (cypress, playwright, etc)
• Experience with continuous deployment and service-based architectures.
• Experience developing Single-Page Application (React, Express, etc.)
• Use of secure coding practices and methodologies
• Passionate in unit testing and producing high quality code
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Effectively communicate, prioritise tasks, and manage time efficiently
• High performance individual who is persistent and self-motivated to accomplish tasks
• Detail-oriented, quick learner, and problem solver
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Advantageous: Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Splunk
• Advantageous: Experience using Storybook.js
• Advantageous: Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and front-end technologies.
• Advantageous: Experience using or implementing DevOps principles and practice
• Advantageous: Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, or other security related technologi
• Technology Stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Redux and related frameworks, Node.js, Docker Container and Kubernetes Clusters (Rancher, Helm)
