As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Rank, you will collaborate with numerous cross-functional teams in Cape Town and internationally. Your role will focus on the following:
Platform Administration: Oversee and manage VMware Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Windows/Linux environments, including network components, firewalls, and Active Directory.
Platform Support: Provide technical support, maintain platform stability, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Management: Lead and mentor team members, manage infrastructure projects, and coordinate with third-party vendors.
Network Design: Architect and implement secure network infrastructure, including access controls and disaster recovery.
Security and Compliance: Ensure platform security, adhere to compliance standards, and manage incident response.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor platform performance and stability using analytics tools.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and develop your skills.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of proven working experience in a regulated Enterprise IT support and administration role.
Minimum 5 years of proven working experience with Hybrid Cloud Networking and Network Security technologies.
Minimum 5 years of proven working experience with supporting and administering Microsoft Windows AD and Linux environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware) and cloud computing platforms (AWS and Microsoft Azure).
Strong knowledge of both Linux and Windows server administration.
Deep understanding of Networking protocols, Network and Application Firewalls
Experience in managing access control systems
Exposure to PCI-Data Security and ISO:27001 Standards essential
