Minimum Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Grade12)
National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (light current/process and instrumentation)
Process Instrumentation Trade Test will serve as an advantage
2 years Metering/Online Instrument experience
Basic PLC programming SCADA systems and networks
Valid drivers license
Primary Duties
Maintain reliable information for operational purpose and consistent customer satisfaction
Coordination of projects with a drive to improve water quality within a project constraints
Ability to solve metering/online problems quickly and effectively to minimise system downtime and possible discrepancies in water quality information
To assist with the procurement of reliable equipment & spares
Responsible for maintaining metering and online instruments equipment effectively
Take technical decisions relating to metering and online instrument maintenance with the consultation of specialists
