Reporting to the Provincial Representative, the Senior Investigator will be responsible for conducting complex investigations in state affairs relating to maladministration, abuse or unjustifiable exercise of power or other improper conduct in the province.
Qualifications and Experience
A degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following fields: Law i.e.LLB or B Proc/Auditing/ Accounting/ Forensic Investigations/ Criminology/Policing
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in conducting investigations, including of which 3 years must include supervisory.
Good report writing skills
Good understanding of legislative prescripts that give mandate to Public Protector SA
Good understanding and experience in the application of Microsoft Office applications
Experience in the South African Public Services Administration
Proven experience in the application of Case Management System (CMS) or other case management related system
Experience in financial management system (forensic audit)
A valid driver’s license
Fluency in English and other official language relevant to the Province/Region.
