    Senior Learning Consultant

    Job Purpose:

    • The Learning Consultant partners with business leaders to design and deliver learning strategies that drive organisational capability, performance, and engagement. This role ensures alignment between learning initiatives and business priorities, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative solutions to build future-ready talent.

    Key Responsibilities

    Learning Strategy & Design

    • Collaborate with the Group Learning Manager to translate business priorities into learning strategies.
    • Conduct needs analysis to identify skills gaps and future capability requirements.
    • Design and implement blended learning programs (digital, classroom, experiential) that support organizational goals and learning maturity at Hollard.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with business units and HR teams to ensure learning initiatives are relevant and impactful.
    • Act as a trusted advisor on learning trends, technologies, and best practices.

    Program Development & Delivery

    • Develop high-quality learning content and frameworks in collaboration with subject matter experts and facilitate training when required.
    • Oversee vendor relationships and manage external learning providers

    Measurement & Evaluation

    • Innovation & Continuous Improvement

    Required Knowledge and Experience    

    • 5+ years in learning and development, with at least 2 years in a strategic or consulting capacity.
    • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, digital learning technologies, instructional design theory and implementation as well as e-learning platforms
    • Proven experience to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects and influence senior stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate and apply an understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997), NQF Act and Skills Development Act
