Senior Lecturer/Lecturer (2 Half-Day Positions) (P003789 and P003790) at North West University

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and Learning

• Lecture typical Industrial/Mechatronics/Sustainability Engineering modules, assist with Final year projects.

Research 

• Quality research that is of interest to the relevant School within the Faculty of Engineering.

Implementation/ Commercialization

• Ensure the commercial implementation of research results Involvement in community projects.

Management

• Involvement in the management of the School.

Minimum requirements

SENIOR LECTURER:

• An appropriate B.Eng degree (NQF level 8).
• A PhD in Engineering (NQF level 10) or related field OR a Master’s degree in Engineering (NQF level 9) or related field combined with ECSA professional engineering registration.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ appropriate work experience.

LECTURER:

• An appropriate B.Eng degree (NQF level 8). 
• A Master’s degree in Engineering (NQF level 9) or related field OR a B.Eng degree in the relevant field Engineering (NQF level 8) combined with ECSA professional engineering registration.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ appropriate work experience.
