Senior Manager Commercial Design and Packaging at SITA SOC (Ltd)

Purpose of the job

• Accountability and Responsibility for Product and Service Strategy, Product and Service Life-Cycle Management and Commercial Design and Packaging To provide full Product and Service Life Cycle Management function – Product and Service Strategy, Product and Service Design, Product Service Commercialisation, Product and Service Marketing and Product and Service pre-sales and post-sales support aligned to the SITA Strategy, SITA Business Model and SITA Engagement Model. To effectively manage ICT resources as a function of Product and Service Life Cycle Management processes. Operate as a single point of contact for the packaging of all products and services and customer value propositions. To establish Product and Service Portfolio Management and Product and Service Catalogue Management.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Develop ICT strategies aligned with Government Department and State-Owned Enterprises strategies.
• Manage the team that acts as a central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and costing of products and services as they move from conception to delivery
• Oversight of the team that defines product and service catalogue of SITA
• Implementation of the product and service lifecycle framework
• Assist the SITA Leadership to create buy-in for product vision both internally and with key stakeholders
• Human Capital Management
• Financial and business management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: National Diploma in Computer Science , Information Technology, Commerce or Business Management.
• (NQF Level 6). Certificates: Preferred certification in COBIT 5 ISO 20000 ITIL EXPERT PRINCE II Practitioner.
• Experience : 8-10 years experience in the ICT field with leadership, business management, operational
• responsibilities in a large corporate/public sector organisation; Experience in general management and provisioning of large scale systems within the Corporate and/or Public sector environment. At least 4 years experience in product and service Life-Cycle Management, service management, catalogue management, strategic stakeholder management or strategic customer management environment.
