Senior Manager: Commercial Finance (FinTech) at MTN

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

• Responsible in managing and coordinating all the functional administration and support related activities (Legal, Contract Management, Procurement, HR, IT, Facilities and Administration) for the FinTech team and various strategic partners.
• This role will also be responsible to lead and manage all the Operational activities for the Group FinTech function with regard to support services to commercial and development teams in FinTech.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

Education

• Minimum of 4 year tertiary degree (B.Sc. or a related discipline)
• CIMA or CA advantageous
• MBA or Masters (advantageous)

Experience

• Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years’ experience in Finance, Administration or Operations
• Experience with an organization with High Digital Maturity or an organization that has been through the Digital Transformation journey will be advantageous
• Working knowledge of Operations management relating to Mobile Financial Services, preferably across MTN’s footprint
• Abreast of global mind-set and best practice
• Willing and flexible to travel within Africa and Middle East
• English speaker. French, Portuguese, Zulu, Swahili, and other Africa languages a plus
