Key Responsibility Areas

• Identifying and aligns the branches key performance areas to support policy and procedural changes and/ or departmental objectives.
• Directing and controlling outcomes associated with utilisation, productivity and performance of staff within the branch.
• Preparing capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
• Collecting, analysing and interprets built and natural environment data.
• Implementing appropriate information and communication technologies within the branch and unit.
• Developing unit business processes.
• Monitoring and reviewing the implementation of ICT within the unit.
• Disseminating information on Unit functionalities, including land use and development of both the natural and built environments.
• Co-ordinating administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 7 years relevant experience of which 2 years must be at management level.

Preferred Requirements

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field or any other related or equivalent qualification.
• 8 years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at a management level.
