Senior Manager Digital Experience (UX/UI) at MTN

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

• As MTN’s Senior Manager: Digital Experience, the role will focus on creating the future of how people engage with the MTN brand on both mobile and emerging platforms. The Senior Manager will champion and drive user behaviors on mobile technologies

Education, Experience and Competencies
Education:

• Minimum of 4 year tertiary Business/Commercial/Marketing Degree
• Design qualification in the line of user experience
• Post-graduate degree advantegous

Experience:

• 7 – 11 years of relevant work experience in a global / multinational business environment (understanding of emerging markets advantageous)
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a supervisory / managerial role
• Minimum 7 – 11 years experience in variety of interactive design formats & methodologies – including; websites, software applications, mobile UI UX and apps, installations, immersive experiences and touch/voice/gesture-based interaction.
• Demonstrate leadership experience on projects that have successfully merged design and technology to create stunning, interactive, user-centered solutions
• Exceptional design sense and design strategy with the ability to provide clear, critical design reviews to project teams
• Experience in leading change / transformation (marketing) at an operational level advantageous
• Experience in continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices
• Media strategy and planning experience would be beneficial
• Experience managing multi-market media operations
• Understanding the spectrum of media planning and buying realities across the various African markets
