Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in management science/public administration/law, or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification.
A minimum of five (5) years middle management experience preferably in municipal in a Local Government Sphere.
A Municipal Finance Management Programme Competency Certificate (CPMD) will be an added advantage
Computer literacy
A valid Code B Driving Licence

Key Performance Areas:
Provide strategic direction and monitor the implementation of the strategic objectives of the department in the Office of the Municipal Manager
Develop and manage operational tools and work control systems for the IDP & IGR Communication & Public Participation, Council & Executive Support, Institutional Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, and Special Programmes
Ensure cost effective management of the department's budget and timely implementation of council resolutions related to the department.
Oversee the development and review of relevant policies and strategies on matters relating to the department.
Ensure that the activities of the department are aligned to the IDP and facilitate performance management of the department through a well-developed Service Delivery and Budget Implementation
Plan and Strategically plan, organise, lead and control all the activities performed by the department.
