Senior Manager: Organization Strategy and Performance Management at MTN

As part of your portfolio as Senior Manager: Organization Strategy and Performance Management, you will be

• Lead the strategy formulation and custodianship of
• HR Strategy and Analytics
• HR Planning, Budgeting, Reporting and Data
• People Performance
• Organization Architecture & design
• Responsible to drive continuous innovation, global collaboration and deep cross-working relationships with other functional areas in HR to effectively design globally relevant solutions and insights for Finco
• Custodian of strategic HR performance to ensure HR teams across Finco and its Opcos are standardized, accountable and empowered to operate as a high performing result-oriented function
• Develop appropriate frameworks, digital technologies and enablers to empower Finco HR Practitioners globally, to deploy result-driven strategies
• Custodian and controller of the Organization Architecture elements including driving Opco HR Executive alignment to the global architecture metrics
• Custodian and owner for Finco’s global performance management framework, principles, policy and process to ensure it is aligned to MTN’s strategic vision and priorities

Job Requirements

The “Must-haves” we look for in an incumbent

• Minimum of 4 year tertiary degree (specialization in Commerce / Finance / Human Resources / Behavioural Sciences and/or equivalent)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in organization design and/or performance management for a global company
• 3-4 years’ experience in Organization Architecture & Operating Model design and KPI design & management with a solid track record of senior and strategic management experience in the Fintech/ Financial Services industry
• Deep understanding of core and technical Fintech related competencies in line with Agile and Scrum frameworks & methodologies
• 3-4 years of managerial experience
• Knowledge and understanding of the Fintech, Payments, E-commerce business ecosystem
• Worked across diverse cultures and geographies with pan Africa multi-cultural experience
• Experience working in a medium to large organization
• A track record of creating innovative and measurable solutions to business challenge
• Project management experience

• Postgraduate MBA and/or Master’s Degree
• Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body relevant to performance management/KPI design /Metrics and Measurements/ related areas
• Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body relevant to Organization Architecture & Design, Competency Modelling etc.
• Experience in operating centers of excellence
