Senior Manager: Product Development at Curo Funds Service

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and strategy

• Develop and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with product management best practices.
• Drive collaboration between cross-functional teams including operations, technology, change and client relationship managers.

Product planning and execution

• Oversee the development and prioritisation of product roadmaps and backlogs.
• Ensure Product Owners effectively translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor progress of product initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met in collaboration with the PMO.

Stakeholder management

• Act as the primary liaison between product teams and executive leadership.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and manage expectations on product delivery and performance.
• Promote a customer-centric approach by ensuring regular feedback loops and data-driven decision-making

Performance and Continuous Improvement

• Implement product development metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement in product management methodologies and tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the organisation remains competitive.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in product management or development within a corporate environment.
• At least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering complex product initiatives on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
