    Senior Manager Talent & Transformation

    SENIOR MANAGER TALENT & TRANSFORMATION

    Main Purpose

    To successfully design and establish an integrated and strategically aligned talent and transformation framework encompassing key HR functions including, acquiring, development and retention of talent, leadership development and Employment Equity transformation.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, deliver and sustain the talent and transformation strategy and best practise through resourcing, placement, talent retention, leadership development and succession planning
    • Design and implement leadership development interventions to build leadership capacity in alignment with the current and future business requirements and the transformation agenda
    • Develop learning libraries and e-learning strategies that support talent development and in alignment with best practice
    • Demonstrate a clear technical and leadership understanding of the business training and development requirements linked to the annual skills plan and in compliance with all relevant legislation
    • Enable employment equity transformation through the development and management of initiatives aimed at achieving legislative compliance beyond transformation, including learnerships, internships and graduate programmes
    • Establish mutual partnerships and rewarding relationships with tertiary institutions and BankSeta
    • Annual reporting (BBBEE, WSP, ATR, EE) 

     

    Functional Competencies

    • Knowledge of talent management methodologies and processes
    • Facilitation and Negotiation – effective at managing and influencing discussion and debate at a senior level, including EXCO
    • Experience and exposure to HR processes and people services
    • Ability to manage strategic relationships with stakeholders and service providers
    • Change management practices, processes and methodologies

    Qualifications

    • B Degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Sciences, with a post graduate qualification an added advantage.

    Experience Required

    • 5 years’ experience leading a talent management function with a proven track record in the Financial Services Industry
    • 8 years’ experience leading a team of professionals / specialists
    • Development and execution of talent strategies that benchmark favourably in the industry
    • Knowledge and Experience of training and skills development methodologies
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation governing skills development, EE and BBBEE
    • Experience in developing end to end talent management frameworks
