Senior Manager Threat Intelligence & Digital Forensics at MTN

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

• The Senior Manager: Threat Intelligence and Digital Forensics will be responsible for managing the detection and isolation of advanced threats capable of evading existing security solutions in tier one, two and three OpCos through a process of iterative and proactive search through networks.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
Education

• Three year tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering or similar
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Experience

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence and/or Threat Hunting.
• Previous management experience in a team-oriented workplace.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in technological solutions and security tools related to Cyber Threat Intelligence and/or Threat Hunting.
• Extensive knowledge and experience handling tools used during the execution of Cyber Threat Intelligence and/or Threat Hunting projects, ensuring their operation and update at all times.

Other

• Fluent in English
• Multi-country operations oversight experience
• Willing and flexible to travel within Africa and Middle East
• Understanding of general regulatory requirements in the telecom industry as it relates to Cyber Threat Intelligence
• Global mindset to service worldwide operations
• Telecommunications industry experience would be beneficial
• Pan Africa and Middle East multi-cultural experience would be beneficial
