Senior Marketing Associate at Greenlight Planet

About the role:

• The Senior Marketing Associate will ensure that the store's overall performance targets are met in terms of quality and quantity. You will also be in charge of gathering and analysing consumer behaviour data in South Africa.

What you would be expected to do:

• Develop Marketing plans to support Sun King Commercial Business Unit to achieve targeted revenue and market share levels.
• Develop and manage relevant marketing plans and execute the concepts to have a memorable impact on the targeted consumers, Sun King partners & internal stakeholders.
• Achieve set targets for various campaigns through effective participation and coordination of all trade marketing activities (ATL, BTL, TTL).
• Conceptualize, develop, and roll out BTL activation plans in liaison with the relevant department and/or activation agency.
• Ensure visibility for all Sun King products in the market as per set targets. Manage relationships between Sun King and all activation agencies, as well as between the marketing department and other internal partners.
• Monitoring and reporting on the expenditure of the market activations budget.
• Management of Sun King events (Internal & External), including Industry conferences.
• Work with the creative team to ensure all customer-facing materials are aligned with the Sun King brand guidelines.
• Work with the Procurement team to source suppliers for marketing campaigns and production of marketing materials.

You might be a strong candidate if you

• Have a degree or its equivalent in a business-related field. Masters encouraged. 
• Have 5 -7 years of hands-on experience in Sales or Marketing related environments.
• Can clearly and straight to the point communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and other local languages.
• Are self-motivated, self-starter who is willing to take the initiative, ownership & accountability
• Possess the ability to develop external partnerships and form strategic alliances.
• Pay attention to detail with excellent people skills.
• Posses Excellent negotiation/influencing and presentation skills.
