Senior OD Practitioner: Organisational Development at North West Provincial Government

REQUIREMENTS :

• Grade 12 Certificate. A Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 6/7) as recognised by SAQA in Management Services / Production Management / Operations management / Human Resource Management and Industrial Psychology. 2 – 3 years of experience within Organisational Development field. A valid driver’s license. Job Evaluation Analysis Certificate will be an added advantage
• Knowledge: Supervisory, Service delivery innovation, Problem Solving and Analysis. Job Evaluation, Work Study investigations, Client Orientation and Customer Focus, Communication, People Management and Empowerment, Change Management, Programme and Project Management. knowledge and understanding of corporate services management in public service, Batho Pele Principles.
• Competencies: Programme and project management skills, change management, problem-solving and conflict management skills. Presentation Skill, People management and empowerment skills. Client orientation, customer focus and communication skills. Honesty and integrity, knowledge management, networking, presentation skills and computer skills. Excellent indepth knowledge and insight into all applicable policy frameworks governing the public sector, conflict resolution, creative skills, negation skill, teamwork.

DUTIES :

• Conduct Job Evaluation process and present the job to JE Quality Assurance and Moderation Committees. Assist with the development of Job Descriptions and ensure submission. Participate and assist with development of the Organizational Structure. Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures. Conduct workshops on Job Evaluation, Job Description, Standard Operating Procedures. Conduct business process mapping for various components.
