    Senior Operations Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all operational areas, driving productivity, and optimizing processes to achieve our business goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term goals in alignment with the Directors. 
    • Oversee and manage all operational activities, including but not limited to supply chain management, inventory control, driver management, software and logistics.
    • Drive product and tech innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, driver and customer insights.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
    • Identify and implement technology solutions and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, quality assurance, and driver support to ensure alignment and smooth operation.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective user (driver) acquisition and retention strategies, and drive revenue growth.
    • Plan and manage operational budgets, allocating resources effectively and monitoring expenses to achieve financial targets.
    • Oversee inventory management, including software assets and ensuring accurate stock levels.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Provide leadership and direction to all departments and functional areas, including operations, finance, sales, marketing, human resources, and technology.
    • Hire, lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the division, attracting and retaining top talent.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, fleet owners and third-party providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective services. 
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
    • Continuously evaluate and optimize operational processes, seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. 
    • Proven experience (5 years) in operational management, with a track record of successfully leading and managing operational teams.
    • Strong understanding of operational principles, processes, and best practices across multiple functional areas.
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, with a deep understanding of business operations, finance, marketing, and sales.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and profitability through effective strategic planning, innovation, and execution.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, make data-driven decisions, and implement effective solutions.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with experience in implementing process improvements and change management initiatives.
    • Experience in managing organizational change, navigating challenges, and driving successful outcomes in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
    • Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively, delivering results under pressure and within tight deadlines.
    • Passion for leadership, entrepreneurship, and driving positive impact through business.
