Senior Parliamentary Researcher - Cape Town at Democratic Alliance

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting Members of Parliament with research and insight relating to Parliamentary activities
• Proactively identifying issues and identifying new angles with a view of driving them in the media and maximising communication outcomes on these said issues
• Conducting research/research-related tasks that will support the Party, and coordinating with other structures to ensure optimal support
• Becoming a subject expert on assigned areas through conducting comprehensive research

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, public policy or a related field
• Post-graduate qualification (advantageous)
• Research experience in a professional or academic setting
• Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite and Zoom
• Proficiency in more than one language (advantageous)
