Senior PHP Full Stack Developer at Legacy Underwriting Managers

Job brief

We are looking for a PHP Developer who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they are proud of and can hit the ground running. Candidates should have a relevant degree or tertiary qualification plus 5+ years experience in:

• PHP, Especially Object Orientation
• JavaScrip, JQuery and AJAX
• HTML
• CSS
• SQL (Advanced, not basic)
• Linux Operating System
• WordPress
• CRM

Soft Skills:

• Logical thinking.
• Deliver clean code timeously, optimised for security and performance.
• Ability to debug and follow code, anyone can do something from scratch but not everyone can debug code
• Ability to work independently in a team setup.
• Will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle from initial requirement, specification, architecture, coding and testing.

Renumeration highly negotiable.

This is a senior position. The successful applicant will be appointed as 2nd in charge of the developers and will be cross-trained to fulfill the position of the developement Manager should he not be able to perform his duties for any reason whatsoever.
