Senior Planner at Pragma Global

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or N6 (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial)
• 3 - 5 Years industry relevant experience in maintenance environment
• Planning and scheduling experience will be required
• Good time management
• On Key experience preferable (EAMS)
• MS Office knowledge 

Duties & Responsibilities

Administer in the computerised maintenance management system  

• Administer and maintain accurate and updated maintenance plans in the computerised maintenance management system
• Action approved master data changes requested by the client in the CMMS
• Ascertain technical manuals and documents are updated as and when new technical equipment is acquired or when modifications are made on existing systems
• Identify GAPs in maintenance plans and suggest improvements to increase performance and availability of Equipment
• Compliance to the change management process and policy
• Update all On Key related data for instance contractor rates, client information, new assets

Managing the team

• Ensure the planners/schedulers schedule identified work on time and ensure work is complemented on time
• Manage the team
• Compile weekly and monthly maintenance work report as per client requirements and in line with contractual SLA
• Compile monthly and quarterly asset management reports as per client requirements and in line with contractual SLA
• Continuous improvement on how the planning and scheduling process is applied
• Facilitate the weekly maintenance planning and scheduling meetings, ensuring weekly or monthly reports are discussed in with SLA
• Evaluate the status of maintenance work in the maintenance management process, and highlight problem areas

Scheduling

• Review all work with status "To be scheduled" in CMMS for identification of work to be scheduled and form part of scheduling work execution cycle
• Reach consensus on maintenance schedule for the upcoming scheduling cycle
• Ensure that the scheduled feedback is reviewed and the necessary action is taken
