Minimum of 7 years in private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CFA Level 1 preferred.
Advanced financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and any financial modelling software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify critical insights.
Strong understanding of private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyse industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to support informed investment strategies.
Develop and deliver comprehensive investment reports and presentations to the Investment Committee, effectively advocating for deal opportunities.
Perform in-depth financial modeling, valuation assessments, and due diligence to support investment decisions.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, legal professionals, and industry stakeholders.
Monitor the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, providing strategic recommendations for value enhancement.
Support the investment team in identifying, assessing, and executing private equity transactions.
Offer mentorship and professional guidance to junior team members as the team expands.
