Senior Product and Delivery Manager at Salt South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead product development from strategy through to execution. You’ll be responsible for:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define, develop, and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Market & Customer Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform product decisions.
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Oversee the full product development process, from initial concept through to product launch and ongoing optimization.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams across engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure seamless product delivery and consistent messaging.
• Data-Driven Product Management: Use customer feedback and performance data to prioritize features, optimize user experiences, and make informed decisions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Be the go-to person for all product-related matters, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and success stories.

• 7+ years of product management experience, with a solid track record of bringing successful products to market.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams, mentoring junior members, and managing stakeholders effectively.
• Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions and refine products to meet evolving market needs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong customer-first mentality, always thinking about how products solve real-world problems.
