Tertiary qualification, B-degree (Accounting as a major)
Self-motivated and resourceful
Portray values of trust, service excellence, accountability,

Five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience preferably in a budget
analytical environment with exposure to analysing large amounts of
data and creating concise reports
Computer literate, MS Office, Advance Excel skills, SAP and ERP
would be an advantage
Excellent communication, analytical and numeric skills
A valid driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas
Provide professional financial and budgeting functional input and support in respect of the preparation and compilation of the annual
Corporate Capital Budget, multi-year Capital Budget and Adjustments Budgets
Ensure compliance to legislative requirements within the statutory timeframes as prescribed by the Municipal Finance Management
Act (MFMA) and adherence to GRAP
Maintain budgetary amendments including changes on the SAP system during the course of the financial year, to provide reliable, accurate and timeous financial information to ensure the integrity of the capital budget
Review, analyse, verify and process financial / budgetary information in support of policy Implement effective and efficient internal monitoring and control of budgetary related processes
Communicate with internal and external clients in a customer centric manner in order to work on issues of common interest and/ orto share information, to keep all affected parties fully informed andaware of issues of common concern, and facilitate the objectives ofthe Department/ Branch
Drawing up of complex correspondence to facilitate the functioning of the Department/ Branch, in order to accurate record keeping and ensure effective use of the Department’s/Branch’sservices and resources.
