A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management / Engineering
Registration as a PrCMP, or certified with PMP or IPMA preferred
8 years or more relevant experience at appropriate level
Professional Project Management skills and abilities in line with National guidelines
A valid Code B driver’s licence
Computer literacy: MS Office, specifically MS Project competence. SAP Proficient.
Key Performance Areas
Manage, develop and/or implement coastal projects to ensure sustainability and protection of coastal areas through effective project implementation.
Perform project tracking and monitoring functions and assess/analyse results obtained to ensure projects remain on track and on budget.
Facilitate and manage the identification, impact and mitigation of actual and potential risks in the section and registered project environment, to ensure the effective management and control of the Corporate Programme/ Project Risk Management Structures and ensuring an acceptable level of risk to the City
