ENVIRONMENT:

• Our client is seeking a Senior Qlik Sense Cloud Developer to join their dynamic consulting team and deliver impactful insights for a high-growth SaaS company in the U.S. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the CEO and technical lead to build and maintain modern business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decisions across the organization.
• Your expertise in Qlik Sense Cloud, APIs, and multi-tenant data environments will be key in driving scalable, high-performance analytics.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Qlik Sense Cloud certification is required, along with proven experience in both backend and frontend Qlik Sense Cloud development.

DUTIES:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable BI dashboards and visualizations using Qlik Sense Cloud.
• Develop robust data models (ERDs), manage ETL pipelines, and ensure efficient data integration from multiple sources.
• Work in a multi-tenant environment, integrating APIs to enrich and automate data workflows.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through advanced formulas, calculations, and visual storytelling.
• Validate and QA all dashboards and reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with QA engineers, analysts, and a technical PM to align deliverables with evolving business needs.
• Contribute to their client’s data maturity journey, supporting better decisions across marketing, sales, support, and product teams.
• Document your work thoroughly and participate in ongoing knowledge sharing with the broader team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Specialist Expertise – Qlik Cloud & Migration Focus:

• This role requires deep understanding of Qlik’s on-premise deployments and Qlik Sense Cloud (QlikCloud). You will take ownership of migration efforts, helping clients move from legacy on-premise Qlik environments to scalable QlikCloud infrastructure.
• Lead or contribute to full lifecycle on-premise-to-cloud Qlik Sense migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
• Assess legacy setups, map out data flows, and re-engineer applications for QlikCloud compatibility.
• Leverage Qlik’s proprietary cloud platform to improve speed, accessibility, and performance of analytics.
• Ensure robust security, governance, and user access protocols in the QlikCloud environment.

Tech Stack & Advanced Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and performance-optimized data manipulation.
• Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) to manage scalable, modular transformation pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Python, especially for data automation, ETL scripting, and API integrations.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Qlik APIs for custom integrations and automated workflows.
• 5+ years of experience in BI development, data analytics, or related roles.
• Proven expertise in Qlik Sense Cloud, with strong backend and frontend development experience.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and multi-database environments.
• Prior success in cloud migration projects involving Qlik.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or Qlik Sense Cloud certification.
