RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established Building & Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage project budgets and cost reports.
Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
Manage subcontractor procurement, adjudication, appointments and payment certificates.
Price and manage variation orders and contract claims.
Assist with forecasting, cash flow projections and commercial reporting.
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
Ensure commercial compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
Requirements:
National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 10 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of project cost control, commercial management and subcontractor administration.
Experience with valuations, variation orders, payment certificates and final accounts.
Valid driver's licence (essential).
Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
