Sea Imports

• Monitor and coordinate forwarding and clearing shipments for customers, in line with (CS)SOP, Geodis and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Anticipate forwarding shipments and proactively track shipments
• Communicate with carrier to confirm shipment arrival and release
• Coordinate customs clearance and delivery to customer
• Execute client contact and align customer needs and services provided.
• Client visits if required
• Arrange gathering and hand-over of freight documents
• Analyze carrier contracts and customer contracts and identify options for negotiation
• Provide customers with rate requests and estimates
• Gather information and documentation from customers and set-up files in the operational system
• Break down documents from shipper and calculate charges, process in operational system.
• Close files, pass invoices and credit memos.
• Ensure proper hand over of documents
• Status Reports
• Full Indent Monitoring
• Estimates when and where required

• Needs confirmed 5-10 years of experience in a senior position in the freight forwarding industry
