We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Security Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations and management, as well as a proven track record of leading a team to ensure the safety and security of a facility or organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure the protection of property, assets, and personnel
Develop and implement security procedures and protocols in accordance with company policies and industry best practices
Conduct regular patrols and security checks to monitor and address any potential security risks
Respond to security incidents or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary
Train and mentor security staff to ensure they are equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to security team members
Qualifications:
Matric Certificate
Valid Psira certificate (Grade A-B)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software
Must possess a valid security license or certification
