Senior Specialist: Business Analyst, Lending - 6 Month Contract at talentCRU Proprietary Limited

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Portfolio Manager/Product Owner: Lending in all research, scoping, analysis and design activities
• Supports the business owner in the formulation of new initiatives/product concepts by identifying the different needs required to fulfill on the desired strategic and tactical goals, determining potential problems and business/systems requirements
• To work with the relevant stakeholders and departments to create and document the business case for the new initiatives
• To document and manage the requirements throughout the project life cycle by capturing user stories, business requirement specifications and ensuring buy-in and sign-off from the different stakeholders
• Work with the Solutions architect and partner providers to design the best solution and ensure what is implemented is technically sounds and meets all business needs
• Identify the risks related to changes in requirements, determine the impact those risks may have on the ability to deliver benefits and recommend actions to mitigate risks where possible
• To assist delivery teams in documenting different test cases
• Collaborate with SCRUM master to ensure timely and accurate delivery of requirements
• To ensure effective communication and liaison with all stakeholders
• To ensure that deliverables developed meet the business requirements and quality standards
• Provide leadership and coaching to the team on process, design and business analysis principles
• Take ownership of the different solutions end-to-end

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Matric or equivalent (essential)
• 3 year degree in IT / Business / engineering (essential)
• Certification in Business Analysis (desirable)
• A minimum of 5 years Business Analysis experience (essential) with exposure to:
  • Product development
  • Lending experience
  • Agile
  • Creation of:
    • User stories and
    • Business requirement specifications
    • Business/Operating models
  • Testing experience
  • Project Management
• Financial services experience (preferred)
