Senior Specialist: EPM & BI Warehousing and Integration (Limited Duration Contract) at MTN

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

Data storage, migration, output, cleansing and quality control are critical steps in the processes design in the team. This role links to MTN’s data governance structures and ensure the Financial and Non-financial reporting required by MTN’s integrated reports are reliable, traceable, and accurate.

• EPM and BI Architecture, Design and BI Warehousing and Support
• Work with the Programme Manager, Project Managers and implementation partners to design and develop the Oracle Cloud solutions falling under the EPM and BI stack. Deploying a integrated and automated strategy enabling EPM and BI business processes
• Oracle Database Cloud Services
• Oracle Integration Cloud
• Oracle EPM Cloud Solutions
• Oracle BI Cloud Solutions
• Oracle SaaS and PaaS solutions

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

Education

• BSc/BCom/BTech
• Relevant Software Certification or courses

 Experience

• 3-5 Years Data Warehousing and ETL
• Relevant data modelling and transformation experience
• Cloud Experience (preferred)
• Microsoft, Oracle, Teradata, Sybase experience

Knowledge:

• Continuous integration architecture patterns
• Technical Knowledge and experience pertaining to integration of various business and IT Systems
• Operating System design and development on preferably both Linux and MS based Servers
• Script Optimization, performance monitoring and BI Support
• Relational scripting (SQL)
• Database optimization and script analysis
• DOS Batch Scripting or Python/Jython experience for maintenance task automation
