Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Proficiency in RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence (BI), systems integration, automation, and data analytics
Strong expertise in integrating mining systems (MES/SCADA) with BI and automation technologies, including RPA and AI solutions
Proven capability in applying Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and related analytical platforms
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test, and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicant’s suitability for employment

Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively engage in and demonstrate Visible Felt Leadership aligned to operational SHE standards, operational campaigns and instructions
Assess and respond to risk in line with the requirements of applicable legislation and regulations
Participate in and contribute towards the development of RPA and AI programmes designed to enable delivery of the South Deep Technology strategy
Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to automate processes within the mine’s operations and BI requirements
Develop, design, and deploy BI, and real-time decision-making solutions to meet operational-specific needs through integrating solutions with existing BI systems
Enhance and fine-tune intelligent processes to ensure accurate and efficient extraction, analysis, and utilisation of operational data
Monitor system performance metrics within the context of the operations and identify areas for ongoing enhancement
Regularly update and adapt intelligent workflows to accommodate the dynamic nature of operational processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, functional, operational and data analysts to ensure broad operational alignment with defined intelligent initiatives, system architecture and design, etc.
Provide technical support and training to end-users for efficient adoption of RPA tools and processes.
