5-8 years’ experience relating to: Sewer Design; Construction
Site Experience; Trenchless Technologies; Project Management;
Financial Management; Sewer Services infrastructure operations and maintenance; knowledge of legislative procedures; Technical knowledge of the provision of Sanitation
Computer Literacy: MS Office including MS Project
Knowledge of AutoCAD/GIS
Knowledge of engineering principles related to sewer services
Valid code B/EB driver’s license.
Incumbent will be required to work independently with limited supervision
Key Performance Areas
Assist with the development facilitation function in the area
Implement maintenance/replacement and capital projects
Assist with the effective conveyance of sewage
Liaise with internal and external providers
Oversee construction and operations to ensure compliance with design and tender specifications
Manage/prepare plans, designs, drawings, maps and charts of the Branch
Ensure that all Quality Management processes of the Branch are adhered to during the entire lifecycle of Project implementation.
Ensure proper performance management activities in compliance with corporate contract management system and
Contract Management Framework.
Support depots with the operation and maintenance of the sewer networks
Guiding and assisting Operations on dispute resolution issues arising from procurement contracts.
