Senior Town And Regional Planner (X1 Post) at Endumeni Municipality

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade12
• Bachelor's degree in Town Regional Planning.
• 3-5 years relevant experience in the field of town and regional planning within the municipal context.
• Registration with the South African Council for Planners as a Professional Planner will be an added advantage.
• Driver's license.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Preparation, management and monitoring of the budget for the unit.
• Managing and coordinating the review and implementation of processes of the Spatial Development Framework(SDF).
• Project management and managing of consultants appointed on various development planning projects.
• Management and monitoring of the performance of the subordinates.
• Attend meetings (ad-hoc, project specific, committee meetings on relevant matters as directed by Director Planning & Economic Development services
• Provide ongoing advice, guidance and mentorship to the Development Planning Services team.
