Service Advisor- VW Fourways at Motus Holdings Limited

About the Role

• As a Service Advisor at VW Fourways, you will serve as a vital link between our customers and the service department. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service while managing service requests, advising on vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle service and maintenance.
• Greet customers warmly and assess their needs regarding vehicle repairs or service.
• Provide accurate estimates for service and repair options, explaining recommended services clearly.
• Coordinate repair processes with technicians and keep customers informed of progress and any changes.
• Ensure customer concerns are addressed swiftly and efficiently to enhance satisfaction levels.
• Maintain comprehensive records of service orders, customer interactions, and feedback.
• Upsell service products and additional services, promoting key offerings to meet customer needs.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their satisfaction and encourage future visits.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive or service industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, repairs, and maintenance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and handle customer inquiries effectively.
• Proficiency in using service management software and other relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant automotive certifications or qualifications.
• Experience in a Service Advisor role or similar position within the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with Volkswagen vehicles and systems is an advantage.
• Additional language skills to cater to diverse customer needs is a plus.
