    Service Manager- Nissan East Rand

    About the Role

    • As a Service Manager for Nissan East Rand, you will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. This role focuses on managing staff, optimizing service processes, and enhancing the overall customer experience within the automotive service sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and lead a team of service advisors and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Develop and implement service department strategies to achieve operational and financial goals.
    • Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain a high standard of service quality and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure proper inventory management for parts and supplies, including ordering and stock control.
    • Conduct regular training sessions for staff to stay updated on product knowledge and service techniques.
    • Collaborate with sales and management teams to ensure seamless customer experiences across all departments.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a service management role within the automotive industry.
    • Strong understanding of service department operations and customer service principles.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
    • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and drive improvements.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff alike.
    • Proficiency in relevant software systems for service management and reporting.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Certification in automotive service management or related fields.
    • Experience with Nissan brand vehicles and systems is a plus.
    • Previous experience in a high-volume service environment, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
