    Service Owner - System Testing

    Job Description
    Overview

    • Welcome to the Games Global world. We’re changing the rules of the game. Providing 1,300+ exclusive games from some seriously talented studios and not to mention a record-breaking progressive jackpot network, we help operators level up and create their perfect lobby 
    • We are on the lookout for a Service Owner to join our Enhance (System Testing) Team in Durban. Enhance, our game studio centric testing team has broadened its scope of testing over the past year to now focusing on quality standards and testing across the organization.  
    • As a Service owner, you will play a crucial role driving innovation and excellence in delivering high-quality services. You will lead the pre-production testing team in performing system testing to all pre-prod applications and platform type products that affects the production line of games and studios. 

    Responsibilities

    What you'll do

    • Lead and Manage: Oversee a newly formed team, fostering growth and aligning their efforts with organisational goals.
    • Technical Leadership: Leverage your expertise in software testing, integration, DevOps, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to guide team efforts.
    • Drive Service Excellence: Ensure the successful delivery of system testing for new, and current applications and platform-type products.
    • Quality Strategy: Define quality standards, frameworks and Quality KPIs for products under test.
    • Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical and process challenges by identifying root causes, implementing innovative solutions, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
    • Strategic Alignment: Align testing strategies with broader organisational objectives to drive value realisation and continuous improvement.
    • Change and Growth: Champion change management and continuous learning by developing tailored training and career plans for team members.

    Qualifications

    Who are we looking for?

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of proven technical leadership experience.
    • 8+ years in the software industry, with exposure to various testing methodologies.
    • Knowledge or experience in the gaming industry (an advantage).

    Technical Skills:

    • Mastery of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes.
    • Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Postman.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud integration and infrastructure testing.
    • Data Testing experience in SQL, Snowflake.
