Service Pricing Specialist at Nexio

• We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing in a services environment and will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies and models to maximize profitability and market share in the managed services environment.
• The Pricing Specialist will work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that pricing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
• The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting the company with more productised services products, services tender submissions, for monitoring and adjusting pricing strategies based on market conditions and performance metrics. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as the Pricing Specialist will need to present findings and recommendations to senior management.

ROLE REQUIREMENT

• Develop and implement services pricing strategies to maximize profitability with special reference to managed services offerings
• Provide commercial support/ pricing for proposals and tender submission for managed services.
• Conduct market research to understand competitive pricing and market trends.
• Analyze pricing data and develop pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
• Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales and profitability.
• Prepare quotes, pricing reports and dashboards for management review.
• Identify opportunities for pricing optimization and cost reduction.
• Maintain pricing databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct pricing audits and revenue assurance checks.
• Develop and maintain services pricing policies and procedures.
• Provide pricing support for new services product launches.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in pricing.
• Develop and maintain pricing tools and systems.
• Assist in the development of promotional pricing strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of discount and rebate programs.

TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Commerce or Technology Degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years' work experience in a managed services environment
